Learn in layers
Start with movement, your action bars, your bags, and the abilities you use most. Give yourself time to get comfortable before trying to perfect every part of your character.
Tell the group where you are
A quick ‘I’m returning after a break’ or ‘this is my first time here’ gives guildmates the context they need. Ask one question at a time, and say when a slower explanation would help.
Make a small plan
Pick something achievable for the evening: finish a quest chain, try a dungeon, or get one profession started. You are here to enjoy the game, not pass a surprise exam. Add deeper systems when they become useful to your play.
Check the right version
WoW advice can depend heavily on the version being played. Before spending time or currency on a recommendation, check that it actually applies to WoW Forever. The guild resource list will grow as members verify useful information.
